Jesus died as a ransom for all. 1 Timothy 2:3-6 This means that all people who are now dead in their tombs will come back to life because the Bible tells us, "As in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive." (1 Cor. 15:22) It means that a resurrection to life is not due to anything we have done, but because Jesus provided this for us. He is the ransom price for Adam, or the corresponding price, and he paid the whole price on our behalf.
Does this mean that all resurrected people here on earth will automatically receive the gift of everlasting life upon their resurrection?
No. Jesus rescues them, or saves them, from their first death. It is the free gift of God. Upon their resurrection, Jesus will teach them the truth and will enlighten them. (Isaiah 2:1-4) This is their judgment and trial period. If they will pass the trial, they will continue living and will eventually gain everlasting life here on this earth. If they fail, they will die a second time, or as the scriptures call it, "the second death". For those who pass this test, "there will be no more death, nor pain, nor sickness, nor crying; for the former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:3, 4)
♦ We believe that the true God is Jehovah. (Psalm 83:18)He alone is the Almighty. (Exodus 6:3)
♦ We believe that Jesus died on the cross as a ransom for all. What does this mean? This means that as a result of Christ's death, all the dead will rise from their tombs in due time. (1 Corinthians 15:22)The Bible said: “I will ransom them from the graves.” (Hosea 13:14) ♦ We believe in two salvations; a heavenly and an earthly salvation. The first to be saved will be brought to heaven and the others will live on earth.(John 14:1-3; Isaiah chapters 35, 66; Matthew 6:9)
♦ We believe that the coming millennium will be a time of restoration of all things. (Acts 3:19-23)God will teach all people the truth. (Isaiah 2:2-4)The truth will cover the whole world and all people will be enlightened. (Isaiah 11:9; Jeremiah 31:34)
♦ After the millennium, there will be no more tears, no more pain, no more suffering and no more death. All bad things will be the things of the past.
♦ We do not believe that the incorrigibles will be tortured in hellfire. The Bible clearly states:“From dust thou art, to dust thou shalt return.” (Genesis 3:19)Instead of fire it is the grave, and instead of torture it is death. To sum up, all sinners will simply die and go to the grave.(Genesis 2:16, 17)
♦ We Believe that Jesus had a beginning and is referred to in the Bible as the first-born of all creations. (Colossians 1:15; Proverbs 8:22-30; Revelation 3:14)When the Bible says “first-born of all creations,” this clearly means that he is a created being.Jesus is not the same as Jehovah because Jesus is not the Father but the son of the Father. (Matthew 16:16).Being a son, he is not equal with Jehovah.Jehovah is greater than Jesus. (John14:28)
♦ We do not believe in Trinity because the word Trinity is not found in the Bible. We believe there only two persons, not three. These two persons are God Jehovah and Lord Jesus Christ.(Acts 7:56)Trinitarians claim that Jehovah and Jesus Christ are equal in power and both of them had no beginning. This is not true because Jesus himself said that the Father is greater than him. (John 14:28; 1 Corinthians 11:3)
♦ We do not believe that human souls are immortal. The Bible says that souls will die. (Ezekiel 18:4)When a man dies he loses all consciousness.(Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10)
♦ We do not believe that God favors only one organization (or church).Jehovah is not partial. He will accept anyone who believes.(Romans 2:11; John 3:16)
